Terms and Conditions
By enrolling in an online or onsite coding course or workshop provided by STEM Australasia, I acknowledge and accept the following terms:
1. Enrolment and Payment
a. Enrolment in any program, course, or workshop ("Services") depends on availability and completion of all required steps.
b. Full payment is needed to confirm a student’s spot. Payments can be made via our secure online portal or other accepted methods.
c. Enrolment is not secured until payment has been received. We reserve the right to cancel any booking if payment is incomplete by the required date.
d. Enrolment does not carry over automatically to future terms. Re-booking is required to hold a place for the next term.
2. Refunds and Cancellations
a. Full refunds will be offered for cancellations made at least 10 days before the program starts.
b. STEM Australasia may consider refunds or credits in exceptional situations on compassionate grounds.
c. To arrange a refund, please reach out via phone or email. We aim to process refunds promptly.
d. Missed sessions (due to the student’s own circumstances) are non-refundable. However, where possible, we’ll provide make-up options or alternative access (e.g. recordings).
5. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule classes at any time. If a class is cancelled, you will be notified in advance and a full refund will be issued.
3. Participant Conduct
a. We expect all participants to behave respectfully and cooperatively during all sessions.
b. Students must follow any rules or instructions given by our team.
c. STEM Australasia reserves the right to remove a student from the program without refund if behaviour is inappropriate or disruptive.
4. Liability and Waiver
a. STEM Australasia, including instructors and staff, is not responsible for injury, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence.
b. By enrolling, parents/guardians agree to release STEM Australasia from any claims related to participation in our programs.
5. Supervision
a. Students will be supervised only during their booked sessions.
b. Supervision is not provided before or after class time.
c. Responsibility for the student outside of class falls to the parent or guardian.
d. Please ensure your child is dropped off and picked up on time. A late pickup fee of $20 will apply if pickup is delayed by more than 10 minutes.
6. Media Use
a. We may use photos or videos taken during sessions for training or promotional purposes (e.g., website, social media).
b. If you do not want your child featured, please let our team know in writing before the course begins.
These terms form the full agreement between you and STEM Australasia regarding our services.
